Play-Fi firmware is installed at the factory with the most current version available at time of manufacturing. In the time between manufacturing and your purchase, it is likely that several Play-Fi firmware updates have been released. When the product has not been updated for a long period of time, the update files will be larger than normal. Ensuring a strong network signal and reliable connection during this first, large firmware update will minimize the risk of an update failure.
