Play-Fi assigns the first wireless audio device you select as the “Primary Zone” for the audio stream. It controls the stream and syncs the audio between the other audio devices. If the Primary unit is turned off it disables the stream and all connected secondary units will stop streaming. If you are using multiple audio devices the primary should be located closest to your router (with the strongest Wi-Fi signal).
