ESL Heaven!
This is my first set of Martin Logans and I could not be happier.
I purchased these used Clarity's in mint condition and love the sound.
I have been dreaming of Martin Logans for so time now.
I'm hearing details in music that I have never heard! I love how I feel like I'm listening to music not (2) boxes in a room.
BTW love how then look also.
Sincerely, Joe
clear non distortion
I have had these speakers for years. They replaced my Klipsch corner horns because I needed the room. They still sound amazing and are in constant use. We use them for crashing music along with being my tv speakers in the evening. The rest of my system is eclectic. A 15 year old Onkyo receiver delivering 100 watts per channel, a Klipsch center channel, an old powered sub-woofer, and 2 bose doubles as side speakers.
Perfect system for My condo!
I have two pair of clarity speakers teamed with a cinema I center and a dynamo 1000 sub for my condo's speaker system. They sound great either for surround sound system or in stereo music. PERFECT for My condo. Thanks Martin Logan!
What a great 'follow-up' in the ESL world!
I've managed to find a pair of used but almost new Clarities, to replace old Quad ESL57's, and man... What a world of change! I fell in love with ESL's I'm Lionel, a youngster (I'd like to think, at 35) in the audiophile world. Having a dad with the same virus kickstarted the hobby years ago with bits of his old kit. In the last two years things got a bit out of hand... My current setup is built - source first - with a Linn Basik turntable with an Akito arm and Audio Technica VM740ML cartridge; Naim Stageline phono pre-amp, Naim UnitiQute (V1) as pre-amp and streamer, Naim NAP100 power amp and ML Clarity speakers. Interlinks are made to order in silver, speaker and power cable by Supra. The Clarities have replaced dads' old Quad ESL57's, which were still good but really needing a loving refit. According to the national specialist the old Quads are a bit like a classic car: quite nice to have fun with your mates with, but not for daily commutes. So the search for a replacement started and loving the character of ESL speakers, I found a pair of ML's. And I'm having a blast with 'm! The hybrid solution eliminates the absence of bass while keeping the airy character, which is really nice. And looking a lot more modern as extra! Only thing is; the old Quads were a lot bigger, so the room looks a bit empty now...
