The product will be on display January 3–11, 2011 in the Innovations 2011 Design and Engineering Showcase located in the Grand Lobby of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Honorees for this prestigious aware are selected by a preeminent panel of judges consisting of independent industry designers, engineers and journalists. Innovations honorees represent life and industry-changing products and acknowledge the year's most outstanding developments in engineering and design in consumer electronics.
Starting under $2,000 per pair (US), the EM-ESL represents a bold new direction for electrostatic loudspeaker design. Featuring a full-sized 34-inch tall curvilinear XStat™ electrostatic transducer and a superbly integrated high-performance woofer, the new EM-ESL performs more like a mini-flagship than an entry level audiophile speaker.
The ElectroMotion ESL is scheduled to ship in March 2011 and will be available at high-performance audio retailers worldwide. Matching center and surround channels featuring Folded Motion™ XT technology will debut shortly thereafter.
