MartinLogan soundbars bieden een unieke functie waarmee het codes kan "leren" van vele externe afstandsbedieningen (televisie afstandsbedieningen, BluRay speler afstandsbedieningen, enz.) - inclusief afstandsbedieningen die niet bedoeld zijn als "universeel". U kunt de soundbar bijvoorbeeld zo programmeren dat deze wordt in- en uitgeschakeld wanneer u de afstandsbediening van uw televisie gebruikt om uw televisie in en uit te schakelen. Raadpleeg de onderstaande opmerkingen voor meer informatie over compatibiliteit.
Om codes van een externe afstandsbediening te leren:
1. Open het submenu 'LEARN' van de soundbar.
2. Kies de opdracht die u wilt programmeren (VOL +, VOL-, MUTE, enz.) En druk op de enter- of rechtsknop van de soundbar.
3. De soundbar reageert met 'PUSH.BTN' of 'PUSH BUTTON'. Houd de tweede afstandsbediening ongeveer 30 cm van de soundbar en druk vier keer op de juiste knop.
4. Als de nieuwe opdracht met succes is geleerd, geeft de Motion Vision 'SET' of 'SAVED' weer. Als het nieuwe commando niet wordt geleerd, geeft de soundbar 'FAILED' weer. Herhaal het proces als het leren mislukt.
Let op: de afstandsbediening die bij uw soundbar wordt geleverd, werkt altijd met de soundbar, zelfs als de soundbar is geprogrammeerd om te reageren op een extra afstandsbediening.
Let op: niet alle opdrachten hoeven te worden geprogrammeerd en u kunt ervoor kiezen alleen de opdrachten te programmeren die u wilt gebruiken. Als je leert van een tweede afstandsbediening, zul je waarschijnlijk merken dat de afstandsbediening geen knoppen bevat die direct overeenkomen met alle beschikbare soundbar-opdrachten. Sommige afstandsbedieningen bieden 'functieknoppen' (F1, F2, enz.) Die nuttig kunnen zijn bij het programmeren van commando's die uniek zijn voor de soundbars (zoals 'Nachtmodus' of 'Optisch 1').
Let op: sommige afstandsbedieningen bieden discrete 'power on' en 'power off' knoppen, terwijl anderen een enkele knop bieden om de stroom aan en uit te schakelen. Met de leerfunctie van de soundbars kunt u beide scenario's programmeren.
Let op: er kunnen afstandsbedieningen zijn die de soundbars niet correct kunnen leren. Vanwege het aantal beschikbare afstandsbedieningen is het onmogelijk om te adviseren welke wel of niet zullen werken. De meeste afstandsbedieningen sturen een unieke code uit die overeenkomt met elke knop. Sommige afstandsbedieningen die zijn gecategoriseerd als een "universele afstandsbediening *" (inclusief enkele afstandsbedieningen voor satelliet- of kabel-tv) verzenden voor elke knop een reeks codes (dwz een identieke preambulecode gevolgd door de werkelijke unieke knopcode). Apparaten zoals deze soundbars, met een 'leer'-functie, kunnen moeilijk leren van afstandsbedieningen die een reeks IR-codes uitzenden. Wanneer dit probleem zich voordoet, zullen de soundbars waarschijnlijk reageren alsof op de knop "Vol +" is gedrukt, ongeacht welke knop daadwerkelijk is ingedrukt. Als u problemen ondervindt bij het leren van opdrachten van een externe afstandsbediening, raden we u aan een andere afstandsbediening te proberen, zoals een die wordt aangeboden door de hierboven genoemde bedrijven.

Super Smooth on Vocals and Musical
I've held off purchasing a soundbar because the audio quality isn't significantly different than the TV speakers. When I listened to the Vision Soundbard I was blown away. It is easy to install and tastefully designed. From an audio point of view - it is wonderful. The vocals for spoken word are clear and easy to understand. It also has a very smooth transition between its crossover point for the HF drivers. I did not purchase a sub to go with it and don't feel it will be necessary for the room I have it located. I had to back the bass off a touch as it is. The bottom end is smooth and round and as it transitions into mids there are no obvious distortions or odd harmonics jumping out. I'm a huge fan and recommend this to anyone wanting a great sounding soundbar. My only complaint is the cheap-assed remote. Yes I primarily just used it to setup the soundbar and then trained the soundbar to respond to my other remotes - but geesh is this thing cheesy. It lives in a drawer now. Having said that - I'd buy it again in a heartbeat. You won’t be disappointed.
