Ticket speaker review
I purchased these speakers through Audio Advisor, they were excellent to deal with and shipped as promised. These speakers are a replacement for a pair of in-wall JBL's and although the JBLs were a fine pair of speakers, they just couldn't handle the power from a Yamaha HTR-6290 I'd recently upgraded to. I didn't want anything larger than the existing in-wall speakers(due wall size and, more importantly, my wife's permission! LOL)and did quite a bit of online research to find what I was looking for. Several sites kept mentioning Martin Logan, a brand I was not familiar with. I thought I'd give them a try and wow, am I ever impressed....the sound is spectacular and the look is very impressive. I ordered with the white grill cloth and I painted the end caps to match the wall colour. My only remark about these speakers is that I wish they also came with the paintable grill as well as the cloth cover in the colour of your choice....this way, if the cloth grill didn't quite meet the "look" you were anticipating, you could paint the metal grill and swap out...I couldn't see that feature costing much extra.
