How do I stream music from my NAS (Network Attached Storage) using the Play-Fi app?

Created: Sep 28 2015 | Updated: Aug 24 2018

Make sure your NAS (Network Attached Storage) device is connected to the network and powered on. Many NAS drives have software that come with them in order to set them up. Run any included software and make sure that the folder you want the MartinLogan wireless audio system to see has sharing enabled. Steps for enabling sharing should be in your NAS’ manual.

  • Open the Play-Fi app and select the speaker (or group) you want to stream music to.
  • In the “Select Your Music” panel, select “Media Server”.
  • The DTS Play-fi App will now search for attached media servers and upon finding a media server on your network will queue to select audio.

Uncompromising performance. Unflinching accuracy. Unwavering reliability. Harnessing the myriad technical advantages of electrostatic principles to recreate sound in its truest form—this is what MartinLogan is all about.
