Sometimes my app has to search for my wireless audio device.

  • Assigning a static IP is a relatively simple way to make sure that your app is always able to locate your wireless audio device. Every router is different but there are often tutorials online.
  • First you should make a note of the MAC address of each of your wireless audio devices. This is located on the bottom or back of your device. Please note that each wireless audio device has two MAC addresses, one for wired and one for wireless. Be careful to select the correct one.
  • In your router advanced settings find an area labeled DHCP
  • Try an internet search “setup static IP in “ + your router brand and model number
